Kick-Off Party: April 5th @ North Hill

The lacrosse season is upon us and we would like to welcome you to the 2013 high school lacrosse season! It is going to be a very exciting season on the lacrosse fields as we anticipate having almost 90 boys participating in the high school program. 

Join us at the Season Opening Celebration of Lacrosse in Duxbury on April 5th, 7-10 PM at the North Hill Golf Club. Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased at the door. We will kick off the night with a talk from the HS captains. Freshman, Sophmores and Juniors are asked to bring an appetizer and Seniors are asked to bring a dessert. 

HS user fees do not cover the world class progam that has been built in Duxbury. The reality is that on-going financial support is required to allow so many boys the opportunity to play in high school. Duxbury is one of the very few programs in Massachusetts to field three teams each spring: varsity, junior varsity and freshmen. In addition, the varsity team will continue to play out of state competition traveling to Fairfield, CT on 4/19-20 and Niskayuna, NY on April 27th. This is a tradition that started years ago and one that we hope to continue for our players in the future – the opportunity to play some of the best competition in high school lacrosse in the East. Not to mention that all three of the high school teams will play the "best of the best" in Massachusetts: Billerica, Medfield, Lincoln Sudbury, Needham, Hingham and Catholic Conference powers Xaverian and St. John's Prep. Fundraising will also pay for: sweat suits for the freshmen, filming the junior varsity and freshmen games for highlight/recruiting purposes, coaches, travel, and food for visiting teams. All the funds raised by the Duxbury Lacrosse Boosters Club support our three teams.

We appreciate any and all donations and thank you for your support. This is a celebration of all Duxbury lacrosse and we encourage the support and attendance of all youth families, current players' families and alumni and their families as well. We hope to see you on April 5th 7-10 at North Hill.
